Year 7 Vaccinations & Monthly Community Immunisation Clinics Program Officer:Rosemary Harris 'The year 7 immunisation program in WA is a school based program and school based vaccines funded under the National Immunisation Program are not routinely available to general practitioners. Those children who miss out on year 7 vaccines at school, either due to absence or for personal reasons, can be referred to: Their local WA DoH immunisation clinic or council clinic for vaccination. However there are circumstances where a child will require vaccination by a general practitioner due to health or psychological reasons. In these cases GPs can contact the South Metropolitan Public Health Unit (SMPHU) who can authorise year 7 vaccine supplies from CSL. SMPHU also has information on the location of Community Health and Local Government immunisation clinics.
